A New Car...and more!
When I met Devin I really liked the car that came with him. A maroon Pontiac G6! It went fast and I thought we would have that car forever.... until little miss Kamille came along that is. We have went on 3 long road trips (Ashton, Kamiah, and Denver) since the arrival of our princess and we just couldn't fit in that little car anymore. Tuesday we went to Minot and traded in Beautimus (That's what Devin named his car) and we got a KIA Borrego. I've never heard of a Borrego and it's orange, but I LOVE IT! We can fold the 3rd row seats down and have lots of cargo space and it's four wheel drive. We named it the Great Pumpkin.
Another Exciting thing... Kamille is 6 months old today! She has so much energy and I'm trying to keep up with her. She likes to talk and sing and blow bubbles. She just started to growl and likes to growl all the time in the car. She can sit on her own sometimes, but most of the time she likes to stand. The other day she stood for 4 seconds all on her own. She is happy most of the time (when she isn't teething that is) and loves it when Devin comes home from work. So far she loves all the nasty baby food except for applesauce and she doesn't like to try mashed potatoes. She is over 15 pounds and I don't know how long she is because she hasn't has an appointment for a while. She is still throwing up all the time, but I'm just getting used to it. The doctors say that since she is growing and getting chunky, we shouldn't worry.
In March we went to Mt. Rushmore and then shot down to Denver to see Devin's Brother's family! While we were in Denver we got to go shopping (for a bridesmaid dress for Jenica's wedding) and I also got my hair fixed from the last catastrophe that happened. Devin got to do manly things like go to Cabelas with the boys. For dinner Saturday night we went to a place called Benihana. It was really good food. The cook comes and puts on a show while he cooks your dinner. It's very expensive and requires a reservation but it was quite the experience. Sunday night, Derek and Katie put on a fondue dinner. We had veggies, meat, apples, and more dipped in delicious goodness!
Next weekend we are heading down to Salt Lake City for a wedding! My good friend Renelle is getting married and I get the opportunity to do her pictures! I'm so excited
Until we meet again,
Kaylynn Jackson
