Thing's Change

Well I know I promised not to write again until April...because I THOUGHT things weren't going to change, but in reality...life changes all the time.

So Updating:
For Valentine's Day, Devin and I went up to Kamiah/Lewiston to surprise my mom and get together with the family. My Dad was able to make it from North Dakota and It seemed like a HUGE group date. We all went together to dinner at Shari's and then out for Bowling. Devin and I didn't do so well in scoring, but we had an awesome time with family. The guy at the counter even gave us a 20$ discount because he could tell we came to have fun, and he could tell we had a strong bond.

Lately Devin and I have been feeling like we need to get out of debt. I feel like we are surrounded by people who are drowning in it. They can't get out. I know it's been weighing on my mind and I just want to not feel stressed about it. So we came up with a plan.

My cousin owns a Flow Testing business in North Dakota. I messaged him about openings and I am pretty sure we are going to be able to work for 6 months or at least until September. Things have been going well and all we are waiting for is the final call to put in our two week notices. I HATE the waiting game, but we all need to have patience right? So in the next few days (hopefully) we will get the call and then BAM... we are off. We will be keeping our place in Rexburg and just taking up the necessities to survive in a small camper for a while. This means I won't be going to school in the Spring and Devin won't have to work at Dickinson's anymore. My job already told me that they would LOVE to have me back in the fall, winter, and spring!

I worked for my cousin last year but only for a few weeks. I caught on pretty quick learned a lot. I am super excited to see how this adventure goes!

Today is my brother, Jacob's, birthday! He is 21 years old and is going to be home in less than a year. I love getting little e-mails from him and I know that he is doing the right thing.  In this picture he just finished biking in an ice storm. I bet that want's fun....but he still has a smile on his face!

Until we meet again,
Kaylynn Jackson
