Finally...almost...unpacked!
Kamille is now 10 months old. She has brought so much joy
into our lives. Every day we wake up to a smiling face and I’m lucky to be her
mother.
Kamille’s UPDATES: She is so close to walking!!! She loves
her baby walker and likes to stand up and walk around furniture. She can stand
by herself but she looks at me like… “Mom, why am I standing all alone? There
is no reason for this” Then she slowly sits down.
She EATS all human food. We started giving her whole milk,
rice cakes, steak…. Lol but really she just eats everything. The diet change
has been giving her constipation, but I give her prune juice (which she loves…yuck!).
She says mama and dada a lot. We don’t give her a bottle
anymore…so she doesn’t say baba anymore. She loves her grandmas and grandpas.
The great grandparents are scary at first…but after a few minutes they are
okay.
Her favorite thing ever is patty cake. She can mark it with
a “B” but rolling it and throwing it in the oven is a little tougher. Randomly
she likes to clap her hands and wave goodbye. She has already started getting
stranger-danger.
Saying good bye to Elder Jason Lloyd! :) Colorado is lucky to have him for the next two years!!! |
Funny story: We were in Wal-Mart and she was in the front of
the cart, screaming with joy and smiling. When an old (sweet looking) Grandma came
around the corner. She got really close and smiled at Kamille and said, “Well
aren’t you the cutest little girl!!!” She pouted her face and sat down slowly
to cry. The Grandma looked mortified! I felt so sorry for her.
Now on to our lives!
Devin and I moved….again!!! I know you are thinking that we
are crazy...but we really are in a great place where we can be for a long time
(at least I’m crossing my fingers). Why did we move? Devin’s company was
raising prices $800 MORE a month…. We already live in the most expensive place
ever! But now that we found an awesome place, with a great view and much more
room, I’m one happy wife!
Before we moved in... I need pictures of what it looks like, now that I have it decorated |
Devin still loves his job at Kinder Morgan. He is good at
what he does and I’m truly grateful for such a hard working husband. I am a
stay-at-home mom J I
get to do laundry, clean, decorate, watch my baby grow and teach her so many
things!!! How lucky am I? I am also the Primary chorister for the Stanley WARD
(yep we are a ward now, HOW EXCITING)! I love all my kids and I promise that I
will learn their names someday. We always have fun and I made my senior primary
into a legit choir! They sound so good!
Stanley, North Dakota LDS church. I took this picture for the flyer for the Open House! |
Until we meet again,
Kaylynn and Devin Jackson
